This project started with the question “what is sexy today?”, but no straight answer could be found. A different interpretation of the concept of “sexiness” is visualized in each new edition of “Linger”, a printed brand zine accompanying every new collection of the UK based brand Nensi Dojaka.

            Deconstruction, introspection and tension are three different approaches to female sexiness today, adapted to the brand’s identity and visualized in these first three zines.

THE INTROSPECTION ISSUE FOR SPRING SUMMER 2024


The collection of spring summer 2024 goes back to the origins of the brand, with a focus on functionality and comfort. In this reset season, nature was an inspiration, with pleats mimicking the unfurling of petals. Sexiness is visual as well as mental. It has something to do with nostalgia. Nostalgia, the painful desire to return home. But home does not have to be a geographical space. It might as well be a moment, or a person. This zine explores how images can evoke a desire for a person, or a personal and private moment with them in time.
That desire can also be evoked through absence. As the magazine progresses, the physical presence becomes more distant, yet the memories grow more vivid.
An abstract still life of everyday objects recalls the intimate memories of the past.
